StandbyCue

Privacy

StandbyCue is a countdown app for live-production crews. The initial free version does not require an app account and does not include advertising, developer-added analytics, or tracking. The core timer does not send countdowns or preferences to a Studio2800 server.

On your device

Your cue name and preferences are stored locally. Custom voice recording is not available in the initial release. Existing recordings from earlier test builds are preserved locally but are not used by this release. StandbyCue does not upload these recordings to Studio2800. Device backups may include app data according to your device and backup settings.

Projection

If you use AirPlay, the clock output is displayed on the receiver you select through iOS. People able to view or capture that display can see the output. Ordinary screen mirroring or screenshots may also expose information visible on your phone. Check the destination before using projection at an event. Apple's services and device settings govern AirPlay and backups.

Support

Our monitored support address is Studio@studio2800.com. If you contact us, we use the information you provide to respond to your request. Support emails have no fixed retention period and are not deleted on a set schedule. Do not send passwords, payment information, stream keys, or confidential production information. Contact this address with questions about your support correspondence; this policy does not promise automatic deletion.

Website hosting

These web pages use Cloudflare, which processes connection information such as IP addresses and traffic data to provide its services. This is separate from the app’s on-device countdown and recordings.

Feature scope

This initial release does not offer Crew hosting, presenter messaging, or RTMPS publishing. If future features change how the app handles information, these disclosures will need to be updated before those features are released.
