Start a countdown

Choose a duration and tap Start, or enter an event start time. Hold/Resume applies to duration timers; scheduled timers stay tied to their start time. At zero, GO appears for 15 seconds while elapsed time starts from zero. LIVE then shows elapsed time, stopping at two hours. These labels are cues, not confirmation that a broadcast is on air. StandbyCue does not control OBS or a switcher.

Wireless projection

Connect your iPhone and compatible Apple TV to the same Wi-Fi. Open iOS Control Center → Screen Mirroring, choose the receiver, and return to StandbyCue. Keep the app open and your phone unlocked. Use Blank display to hide the clock or Show clock to restore it. To disconnect, select Stop Mirroring in Control Center. If the receiver is missing, check its AirPlay settings and whether the network permits device discovery.

Green screen

Under Wireless projection → Advanced, enable the green-screen background. Configure chroma key in your capture system or switcher. This is a green background, not transparent video or a separate key/fill output.

Important operating limits

Keep the app visible during use. Background voice announcements are not guaranteed. Closing or terminating the app loses the active countdown. Disable warning flashes or use Reduce Motion if flashing is uncomfortable. Test your receiver and audio setup before a production.
